webcatz - terms of service

webcatz is a service available under the domain webcatz.eu.

information collected by webcatz on remote servers

for unregistered users:

• ip address for rate limiting purposes

for registered users, if provided:

• e-mail address (required for creating an account)
• password hash and salt (required for creating an account)
• any valid session id's (removed automatically after log-out or after expiration time passage)
• order information (required if any orders are placed)
• delivery addresses or details (required if any orders are placed)
• names (required if any orders are placed)
• payment information (required if any orders are placed)
• phone numbers (may be required if any orders are placed)

by making an account, the user consents to the collection of the listed data and their storage. requests or questions regarding any collected/processed/stored datum should be made to data@webcatz.eu.

all of these data can be requested for removal by the user, as long as they do not have any pending orders or unsolved returns. users can also request a full copy of their data.

order information, delivery addresses or details, names, payment information and phone numbers, which are related to paid orders are required by Polish law to be stored for 6 years for tax reasons and will not be deleted. they may also be held by Stripe Inc., a payment processing company.

data may be collected by Stripe Inc., a payment processing company in the case of a user ordering an item. Stripe Services Agreement applies: https://stripe.com/en-pl/legal/ssa.

breach notification

in the occurrence of a data breach, users will be notified by e-mail.

web cookie

a cookie is used for exchanging a session id between the client and the server. a user can invalidate the cookie by accessing https://webcatz.eu/log-out. this datum is required for the proper functioning of an account and cannot be avoided when using webcatz while logged into an account.
